25/5/8 アメリカ最大規模の作曲コンペ"International Songwriting Competition”にて、オリジナル曲" Paradox"がJazz部門のHonorable Mention Awardを受賞！
【News】"Paradox" has been awarded an Honorable Mention in the Jazz category in the 2024 International Songwriting Competition (ISC)(5/9)
International Songwriting Competition (ISC) 2024の最終選考が発表されました。
自身では4度目となるJazz部門でのHonorable Mention Award(特別賞)ですが、残念ながらグランプリ等には選出されませんでした。
ISC公式サイトによれば、112ヶ国、14,000以上の応募があったようです。その中で、Honorable Mention Awardを受賞できるのは全応募者の中のわずか1%と公表されています。
ジャズ部門にて世界のトップ15に入ることができたのは本当に光栄なことです。
そして、兼ねてから敬愛してきたTaylor Eigsti,Remy Le Boeufらと同じ並びに自分の名前があることだけでも恐れ多いです。
素直な気持ちでは、Grand Prize等さらなる高みに到達できなかったことには悔しさもあります。
世界中には、数えきれない程の素晴らしいアーティストが存在し、つくづく世界の壁の高さを痛感します。
ここからさらに高いところに到達するためには、私には何かが足りていない。
そういうことなんだろうと思います。
その何かを追い求め、今後、さらに良い曲を書けるよう、ますます努力していきたいと思います。

On behalf of everyone at ISC and our judges, we are very pleased to inform you that the song "Paradox" has been awarded an Honorable Mention in the Jazz category in the 2024 International Songwriting Competition (ISC). Congratulations on this outstanding achievement.
Although being selected an Honorable Mention does not garner any physical prizes, you are still considered to be an ISC winner. With almost 14,000 entries from more than 112 countries, only 1% of all entries made it to Honorable Mention, so you should be extremely proud of this achievement. We hope this recognition will inspire you to continue writing great songs and pursuing your passion for songwriting.
